Celtica, the peer-reviewed journal of the School of Celtic Studies at the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies (DIAS), is now available online as a Diamond Open Access publication.
As a stakeholder organisation that has endorsed Ireland’s National Action Plan for Open Research, DIAS has taken a major step forward in making high-quality Celtic studies research freely accessible to all. Beginning with issues 33 to 36 (2021–2024), Celtica is now hosted online without paywalls or author fees, reflecting a strong commitment to the principles of Open Research.
New issues of Celtica will be published both online and in print, and there are plans to digitize the back catalogue to ensure long-term access to its valuable archive of scholarship.
